Self-care takes on a whole new, even more important meaning as a mother. During pregnancy you feel completely differently about your body and through the birth you realize what you and your body are capable of. But as a woman, lover, and future mother, you also need a certain amount of care. Your resources are not endless. And even if you think you can do it all with your left hand, we honestly want to admit that there will be times when this won't and can't happen. Use your pregnancy as a time of preparation to strengthen yourself and your body from the inside out. Define clearly for yourself what is good for you, so that you'll have this idea to fall back on during hard times, which will happen.

We have gathered a few things that can travel with you you throughout your pregnancy. But here, too, the phrase "not one size fits all" applies. Maybe there are different things that are good for you; these posts do not claim to be complete and will hopefully continue to grow with your help. But we recommend one thing from the bottom of our hearts; never forget that you, as a woman, will still exist after you've become a mom. You have your own needs, which can also be fulfilled here and there.

Yoga during pregnancy

Yoga is a great companion in so many ways throughout pregnancy and can be a great holistic preparation for childbirth. Yoga helps your body to engage in this phase of transformation - physically, mentally and emotionally. Practicing yoga is about nurturing and connecting with yourself and your baby.

Wellbeing

The present moment is the material from which the future is formed. Therefore, the best way to take care of the future is to take care of the present moment. What can you do today?

Mindful Living

"Mindful living," or "Leben in Achtsamkeit" in German, means nothing other than focusing on the present moment, whether we are working, caring for our children, or having a meal. However, it doesn't mean that we lose sight of the bigger picture.
On the contrary, having a purpose, following a Dharma, and setting goals give our life meaning. The great challenge is to find the balance between being present in the moment and planning for the future. If we are compassionate and open to new experiences, then a mindful, conscious life can offer us endless new possibilities and inspirations.

So how do we find more clarity and self-confidence in our decision-making process, whether in life or in creative tasks? An essential aspect is reflection, contemplation, and meditation. Becoming aware of our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions connects us with our innermost motivation for our life decisions.

A regular mindfulness practice for body and mind, being patient, turning our gaze inward, and focusing on one thing are just a few crucial aspects of Mindful Living for a more positive feeling of life.
