Characteristics:
Wool/silk adapts to almost every situation and every temperature. In winter and when it's cold, wool warms you up. In summer and during physical exertion, silk cools you down and wool transfers excess heat to the outside. In addition, the body is better protected from UV radiation when exposed to the sun than with conventional cotton clothing.
When selecting our wool products, we make sure that our suppliers are GOTS-certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading standard for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers. It defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain at a high level and at the same time demands compliance with social criteria. Furthermore, we attach particular importance to kbT (controlled organic animal husbandry) This is not primarily about the pastures, but about the treatment of the animals themselves.
Care instructions:
When it comes to wool, you should always follow the care instructions on the laundry label, as there are differences depending on the proportion of wool and silk and the manufacturer.
Use cold water and a special wool detergent. Be careful not to wring the garment as it may deform. Better: roll it up briefly in a towel and lay it flat on a new towel on the drying rack to dry, but not in the sun or on the radiator!
