Here they are, our first own bonnets made of wool and silk. We have optimized the cut so that they fit particularly well on the head and hug it comfortably, so that the advantages of wool and silk are fully utilized. And most importantly, they retain their shape even after repeated washing.

A first-time hood should be part of every initial equipment and should be put on immediately after birth so that your child does not lose so much heat through his head. Later, the hood is also ideal for putting hoods or other hats underneath.

Wool & silk as a material offers many advantages and we think it is the perfect material for little explorers. Wool & Silk is:

In our wool & silk collection we used 85% wool & 15% silk from ecologically sustainable production in Europe. Our product is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which means that it was produced without chemical and/or toxic agents and the materials are of the highest quality. When selecting wool, we attach great importance to ensuring that the sheep is well, which is why all of our products that contain wool are “mulesing-free”.

And the best thing about natural products like these is that they do not release microplastics when washed, which contaminate our drinking water and the oceans. We have completely avoided using plastic packaging in our production. In addition, our products come without hangtags/labels, as this is another auxiliary material that ends up in the trash immediately after purchase. Clothes made from wool and silk can be worn by your baby and/or child all year round. In winter the wool warms and is the perfect layer on the body, and in summer the silk has a pleasant cooling effect.

For your newborn, we recommend starting with size 34cm.

Our tip: Use lanolin to add to your wool detergent every 2-3 washes. This means that the wool retains its own fat and feels soft and cozy for a long time.
