Here they are, our very first wool and silk wrap bodysuits. We've perfected the design to close comfortably high at the neck. The snap-button wrap technology makes them easy to put on and take off. Our wrap bodysuits from this collection are long and slim, embracing the body snugly, ensuring long-lasting wear, and making the most of the benefits of wool and silk. And most importantly, they retain their shape even after multiple washes.
Wool & silk as materials offer numerous advantages, and we believe they are perfect for little explorers. Wool & silk are:
- Temperature-regulating
- Dirt-repellent
- Antibacterial
- Naturally UV-protective due to the silk content
- Do not release microplastics during washing
In our wool & silk collection, we've used 85% wool and 15% silk from ecologically sustainable production in Europe. Our product is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, ensuring it's produced without chemicals or toxic substances, with materials of the highest quality. When selecting wool, we prioritize the well-being of the sheep, which is why all our wool-containing products are 'Mulesing-free'.
What's best about natural products like these is that they don't release microplastics when washed, which can contaminate our drinking water and oceans. We've completely eliminated plastic packaging from our production. You can find everything you need to know about our products here and revisit it anytime. We believe this is a much more sustainable approach.
Wool and silk clothing can be worn by your baby and/or children all year round. In winter, wool provides warmth and makes the perfect base layer, while in summer, silk offers a pleasantly cooling effect.
Our Tip: Add lanolin to your wool detergent every 2-3 washes. This helps the wool retain its natural oils, keeping it soft and cuddly for a long time.
Size & Fit: It's slim and long cut. We recommend starting with size 50 for your newborn.

Wool & Silk
Our recommendation to always read the care instructions in the respective garments, the special composition of the manufacturer and the origin of the materials often require individual care.
Basically, you should use a laundry bag for your wool laundry, this reduces the friction on the washing machine drum and thus the risk of felting. Textiles made of wool/silk do not get dirty as quickly as cotton textiles, it is usually sufficient to air the textiles and only wash them when they are really dirty.
Always wash wool & silk on the wool cycle and make sure that the setting uses cold water, not 30 degrees. Basically, the older the washing machine is, the worse the wool program is, which can lead to problems. Also pay attention to the spin speed, it should be greatly reduced and no final spin should be set.
You should also use a high-quality, organic wool detergent and not a conventional one. Dry your woolen laundry lying on a towel and carefully pull it into shape after washing. Please never let your woolen clothes dry in the blazing sun, in the tumble dryer or on the radiator.
In the BabyBox, we use Disana's wool shampoo. It's particularly mild and ideal for all natural wool.
With our Joha products, we have had good experiences washing them at 30 degrees on a wool cycle. (but we do not assume any guarantee)
